Imperial German WWI Stormtrooper Badge.

A very nice quality example of the metal breast insignia worn by members of these elite units, formed in the middle years of WW1. Stormtroopers (in German Sturmtruppen) were specialist soldiers trained to fight with "infiltration tactics".
This is example is late war construction in zinc and is an attractive antiqued finish. It is fitted with the correct German style brass pin fixing.
