The Cholm Battle shield Instituted on 1st July 1942 and awarded to the defenders of the tiny fortress area of Cholm in Russia. Issued to members of the Army (Heer), Luftwaffe and S.S.
Antique silvered finish. Complete with steel backing plate and a piece of field grey cloth backing material.
