Presentation case for the German 1936 Olympic Games Award 2nd Class..
This, hand made, wooden case is covered in white leatherette and has the Olympic Rings blocked on the lid in gold foil. The base pad is covered in grey velvet and has sculpted recess for the award. The lid is lined in off white silk. Complete with brass hinge and catch. The case measures130 x 90mm.

The German presentation cases and boxes offered by the Regalia Specialist are all hand made in Europe. Traditional manufacturing techniques are employed replicating the feel and finish of the original pieces as closely as possible. Often old reclaimed materials and fittings are used which are no longer available today. For this reason the cases may occasionally have very minor blemishes.
