Volkswagen V.W. Spezialist Mechanics lapel badge..

This pin was worn by all trained and qualified VW specialist auto mechanics. It is finished in silver plate and blue enamel and measures 20mm x 15mm.

We have purchased a small quantity of these badges. They are all slightly tarnished. The amount of tarnishing varies a little from badge to badge but will easily clean off if required. The enamel is all intact. The reverse is impressed with a maker's or copyright mark.

The Third Reich period spawned several new political and pseudo-political organizations. Many, of, course, affiliated to the Nazi party. Each had its own insignia and membership badge or stickpin. Similarly there were membership pins for other state owned organisations.
