GESTAPO bronze identification tag .

These ID discs were carried by members of the much feared German 'Geheimes Staats Polizei' (Secret State Police). This fine quality example is die struck in brass and has a pleasing antique patinated finish. The reverse is impressed on the reverse with a unique issue serial number.
